The very first version of the site I put up, when I just wanted to have a place to more concisely display all my projects, although there weren't that many yet. At this point, I didn't really have any idea as to what I could do as an aesthetic for it, so I ended up just going with this really minimalistic style for it. Also, I'm not quite sure why I felt so drawn to the word Ydea enough to name the whole thing after it. I'd just been thinking about the letter Y a lot around that time. Sort of a holy trinity appeal to it...

For the next two years after I'd initially started Ydea, I sporadically popped in to add any new projects I'd finished- there's a bunch of intermediary versions that aren't shown in this time machine. I was quite happy with the things I had on it, but it was around this point when I began to feel that the pure black and white design didn't really suit the site that much anymore, so I began slowly working on completely revamping the darn thing.
Version 2.0: Wyndmockr Ophelia

After months and months of procrastinating, I wound up with this design, featuring somewhat of a reimagined 2000s-retro aesthetic, as well as a generally more polished feel, and a way more expanded corpus of works to show, as I also chipped away at a bunch of other projects during this time. And I renamed the site to Wyndmockr as I felt the name suit its identity much more.

I don't quite know what is next, and what is to be expected from Version 3.0 yet, although it will probably be quite Frutiger Aero-inspired. Guess we'll wait and see.
